1620 Cowper Street

Built in 1932

This was the family home of well–known Palo Altan Roland Davis for many years. His notes on the house were written in August 1998 when he served as a volunteer assisting Dames and Moore on a city sponsored up–date of the Historic Inventory. The work of Dames and Moore was never adopted by the city. PAST thanks his children for sharing this valuable bit of history and these beautiful photos.

This house was designed by Charles Sumner in 1931 for Alf and Emilie Wellhaven.

Photographs, taken in 2012, were provided by Alan Davis.
