2016 Centennial Plaques

These pictures are from the 2016 Preservation Month celebration, Sunday, May 15. The afternoon began with the presentation of centennial plaques to homes built in 1916 and six others from earlier years. This was followed by a talk on Eichler Comes to Palo Alto by Steven Eichler, grandson of Joseph Eichler. At its conclusion, he presented the first of the 2016 preservation awards to our National Register Eichler neighborhoods. Presentation of the other awards were made by members of the PAST board. The afternoon concluded with conversation and strawberry shortcake!
