Palo Alto Historic Buildings Inventory

175 Byron Street

Photo taken May 10,2016.

This Colonial Revival house was added to the Inventory at the request of the owners, Kent and Crindy Stormer. They undertook an extensive refurbishing process starting in 1988 to return it to a single family home after its status as a duplex for many years.

The earliest known occupant was Rufus Keeler, an electrician who was employed by the City of Palo Alto. His wife's name was Miriam.

Built in 1906, it is a Category 2 on the Historic Inventory. It was one of the homes on the 1999 Holiday House Tour.
