345 Sherman

This Queen Anne cottage was the home of the Ponce family (Joseph and Julia) on Sherman Avenue. There was a water tank and windmill in the backyard. After it was demolished, the property served as a parking lot and is now home to apartment buildings. The facing block is currently (2019) the consturcion site of a the new parking garage.

 

The people are identified as Joseph Ponce, Julia Ponce, Ynez Morgan (granddaughter), Marguerita Ponce, and Bess Givartiney.
